• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

So I have a 99 regal, the tranny has as follows 7/8th chain, 3:29s, 34 tooth reluctor wheel, 3000 stall converter, ZZP 300M input shaft, Chrome molly pump shaft, Transgo SK, Custom separator plate mods, hardened 4th hub, Blue plate clutches, Z pack for 3rd Gear, Diode spargs.

This was built by Chris Harmon less than a year ago, this was his car that i bought from him. So Monday night, i started hearing a while from the lower part of the motor and then 2 mins later driving 40 it fell on its face, revved to 4000 rpms and had barely any power....i was at 4000 going about 35, so i drove it straight home and then trailered to my work (chevy dealership) and the tranny "specialist" dropped the pan and there werent any big flakes of metal but a lot of TINY ones in my opinion, he called them big, but they were like specs of sand. Anyways, we started with a tranny filter, the whine went away, car drove great then!! full power, great shifts, yada yada yada, only thing i noticed was the trans temp was getting hot quicker than usual. It also threw a code last night for a "turbine input speed sensor"

Another weird thing is that ever since ive had the car, the stall doesnt always lock up on the highway i.e. i could be cruising 60 on the highway and it wont do anything til it hits 3000 RPMS.

So heres the issue, today on my way home from work i was going about 45 and it fell on its face, did the same thing as monday night except worse now it literally has NO power, it moves....but whines like a ***** and is at about 4000 RPMs at 20 mph so i pulled over and am going to trailer it home....but WTF?!

PLEASE HELP!! any and all suggestions, trannyman please help!
