any one know why my boost guage on my dic does not work?

on my was home i was driving and i noticed that my boost guage on the DIC did not do anything the little bars did not move. there wasnt any bars at all.
 


ya i acidently did that lol. but yeah i was building boost it just didnt show up. what does that guage run off of ? like what vacuum line?
