I know its a gp forum but just got a 76ish maybe newer z280 towed in to do a tune up on and a few other things on guess its been in storage for 5 years or something

look easy as pie to work on

Jus curious if theres any Z fans out there
 


Im actually not sure what model it is its back when it was datsun/nissan
its got a fuel injected inline 6 heres a few pics

Ive loked all over the car no real emblems i know the label under hood says 3000 pound and 170 hp at 5500 rpms
At any rate im just doing what the customer wants
 


I aunt has a British racing green 260z, My old friend had an older 280z then a turbo 280z then a turbo 89 300z. Then another with a 240z who was going to do a LS1 swap

Honestly, alot better cars back then, then now
 


SO after actually working on it Im a bit amazed the simpler things get to work on the dumber i seem to be its truely back to basics except the fact that it is a 78 and has a computer on board and fuel injection
Got it to crank but no gas so i have to get some fuel and make sure the fuel pump works
and if all goes well she will fire up and it will be out of my garage if not its gonna be fun to trouble shoot
 
couple days ago figured all my other car forums were my biz name might as well change it here to. Helps keep every thing straight
Im on like 15 forums right now any car i work on i hop on a forum lol
