Another overheating thread.. Empty Rad Over Flowing Coolant Reservoir HELP

Heading to work this morning and my 03 Buick Century's temp started climbing. I pulled over to see the reservoir is overfull and coming out the back where there is an opening. I did the lower intake gaskets at 200k miles and I currently have 210k this is my first major problem since then. Ive tried topping the fluid off, bleeding the system but I get the same results; the coolant evacuates into the reservoir and I overheat, I can go 10 miles after bleeding the system and topping off before this happens. Thermostat was replaced 3 weeks ago, and since it has been opening and closing normally after bleeding I believe I can rule that out. The coolant is a nice lush green and the oil is just oil, no milkshake crap. My mechanical knowledge is telling me this is a head gasket forcing gases into the cooling system but if so why after 10k miles all of a sudden? I am completely and utterly stumped, this is my work car and im still in mid-build with the GTP so any help or ideas is VERY much appreciated.

Thanks
Brandon

The first thing I would suspect is a bad radiator cap. You can test it and the cooling system with a cooling system / cap pressure tester available for sale or rent at most parts stores.

X2 on that suggestion. be mindful that the replacement ones don't always fit. I had to tighten the tabs on cap and BINGO good to go.
