Hey guys,

It's been a while since I been on here but since I last was my Dad had his 04 Impala die. He was searching for another car when we went to a local car lot & came across a 2006 Grand Prix. Decent looking, new tires and seemed to be taken care of so he test drove it & ended up getting it. It's a nice car but not optioned out like my 08 GP. So far he likes the car a lot, although the one complaint he had was the lack of steering wheel controls. I remedied that by purchasing a leather steering wheel off ebay for $40 & recently got the needed clock spring to put it on the car. While it isn't as optioned as my 08 it does have the nicer looking grill & different rear spoiler. Other than that it's pretty basic. Basic radio, cloth interior, passenger seat that doesn't fold completely flat, regular 3 button message center... Still not a bad car though. Currently it's in better shape than my 08, as I've let her go a bit but I am trying to get her fixed back up. He even enjoys the extra power. it's his 2nd GP. His first he bought in I think 75 & had to get rid of it after the passenger window shattered on my mom when he closed the door. Totally different cars but still is interesting to me. Never in a million years did I think he would basically have the same car as I do. We are even gonna be going to PA in his car in a couple weeks. Fine by me, so I keep the miles off mine lol.
