Amp running to 6x9's

Hey, so I noticed I have a stock amp running to my 6x9's in the trunk.
It's a stock head unit, CD only bass/treble equalizer, and a bose 8 speaker system.
So my question is, what's the wattage on the amp, and also, can i add a bigger one, i don't think i would, just curious, and on the curious note, can i wire a subwoofer through that source, or just go the usual wire off the battery with a fuse?
Thanks G

You'd have to look at the advertised wattage of the bose system in the car advertisements.

I'd wire an additional wire off the battery with a fuse for a sub. The wire for the stock amp is only meant for the load of the stock amp, nothing more.

Adding a bigger one means lots of wiring, same as adding a sub amp.
