bet it only works on metal tho. on flexable plastic you need a flex in the paint as well. but its good for that it is or if you have a fender to sell quick
 
It actually works great on plastic (IE front/rear GP bumpers, side skirt, door bump guard, lower door trims)

I've done this to 2 cars now, hardest part is doors, unless you can lay them horizontally (vertical surfaces tend to cause sags and runs do to how thin it is (I thinned to to 60% paint 40% thinner)

You'd be absolutely amazed at how well it can turn out if you do good prep work and dont get in a hurry. I don't have any good pictures, but the rear bumper had about 5 coats of rolled on rustoleum, and I could twist it all over the place and have no paint issues.
 
And my favorite part of it is, if you got any nicks/chips (it's tough damn paint) you can use a can of the same paint available at any walmart/lowes and touch it up really quickly/cheaply
 
ive used rustolium paint in the gallon jugs before. rolled it on a metal roof, another time we used a wagner paint sprayer. both came out better then expected.
