Just wondering if anyone has this stereo and has had problems with the subwoofer pre-amp out RCA connection. I bought this stereo used on ebay. I hooked it up and there is signal going to my amp because the subwoofer is moving a little bit. I have the gain on my amp all the way up but it is a very weak sound for the bass notes. I know its not the amp or sub because I have a line out converter and when it is connected to that it plays just fine.

I have this exact stereo (as does a friend of mine) - and no, no problems.

Have you played with the settings on the headunit? There's a subwoofer ON, as well as a subwoofer volume control(turn it to 15 - I'm guessing this is your problem, 15/15 is basically the equivalent to being at 0)
Of course there's also crossover settings that will really change the way things sound.

I did go through the settings on the stereo and made sure the subwoofer was switched to on. I had the subwoofer volume control turned up to 8 with the gain on my amp maxed out. I can't remember if I did try it at 15. I'll try again tomorrow with it up to 15 and go through the crossover settings. I guess this one is a little more complicated than the 2 din Sony touchscreen I had.
