• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Now my questions are

1.Can i use my zzp hv stage1 throttle body for a top swap?

2.Any good recommendations for top swap pcm vendors?

all help is apprieciated thanks

i belive u can use ur hv tb u just need a tb spacer as for pcm intense is ok but im sure u can find someone on this site to do a custom tune for you

intense is the most decent you can get when it comes to a vendor pcm for a top swap, lasted me a while. Only thing that sucks is they were using a modified gt bin so the pcm didn't know what to do with boost. Get your own tuner and w/b a/f gauge and learn how to tune yourself, you can try starting with a stock gtp bin and go from there, add or subtract timing, 02's etc etc

^^That. Especially with boost and high compression I would ALWAYS want to know what my car is doing.

Thanks for the input guys....so if I were to get someone on this site to do a custom tune would they do it from a stock gtp bin or a gt bin?

2.how hard is it to wire up a map sensor from the gtp's for a top swap

3.I have speeddaddy headers do I still need to get like a dp of any or is all that part of the assembly?(haven't took it out the box yet)

speed daddy headers have a dp with it just get new band clamps and copper rtv for the slip joints so they dont leak and as for the map sensor i think zzp sells a conversion harness or u can wire one ur self

Your missing a couple things.
Valve covers, spark plugs, all gaskets, bracket from alt to supercharger, and many small things but those aren't really parts.

Lol I forgot to include I have the valve covers, alt bracket, and the zzp top swap gasket kit,(still need spark plugs, copper rtv,oil change, and other stuff) but for some reason my tranny is not going into 4th gear when crusing but when I'm full throttle it goes in so this project will once again be delayed.....F*** my life.....

I'd use a stock L67 TB, as it is probably bigger than a Stage 1 for a GT.... also you will want a tuner, there is way to much going on for a canned tune

That is true but I was thinkin if I take it to a shop and get that installed maybe they can throw a few other parts in there also to make the transmission stronger....how much would I be looking @ it labor for the 4th gear shaft?

Who knows...call a shop? I bought a Triple Edge Transmission and I don't ever have to worry about that again.

Once the trans is out it is not hard at all to install the shaft. Take of the side pan and vavle body and there it is.
