all wheel drive?

well i know its going to be work and money.... but.... i cant really find any information about the technical aspects of actually doing it.. i mean i cant figure out how much time and money its going to cost if i dont know what it involves....

your better off going RWD if anything way more fun and easier in my opinion. AWD is cool with alot of HP

You'd need to completely redesign the front and rear suspension, build a trans tunnel, new exhaust, try to get the 3800 to work with AWD tranny or a whole new motor with the tranny, that's the short list. There are probably builds out there for doing this, but they're going to be rare. Something like this would require a lot of knowledge.

A guy who did a RWD build on a GP took him like 4 years building it in his garage and he never posted a price but it was a pretty penny. I'm not saying you couldn't do it, it's just going to be expensive and very involved. You're pretty much building a whole new chasis with a GP body.

Looking up AWD swaps with cars that had that option would start to give you a slight idea of what's involved.

yeah a rwd your turning the way the engine mounts seems like TONS of work... my moms traverse is all wheel drive with a 3.9 v-6 thats sits in the engine bay about how a 3800 does...

well for AWD or RWD you better have some good fabricating skills lol

either way i think RWD would be easier IMO

i think awd would be easier, yeah you'll have to fab tunnel for the driveshaft, but rwd is a tranny tunnel too, and your console,,, plus your engine would be mounted the opposite direction so yeah the issues with suspensions and such, if i was doing RWD might as well find an camaro or something and do a hack weld job and just drop a GP body on it haha

yeah i thought the g8 concept was the one that had the 5.7 and awd? it just kept blowing up the versa track they threw on it... but that was also 12 years ago...

is that a muncie or a getrag tranny? i might be able to find one of those cheap... what kinda power could that handle?

The Audi Quatro 3.0 may be a good starting point as well. It's drive train was designed to handle a tone of torque.
