Alarm won't go off with sensitivity all the way up...wtf

Ok so I got a Python 592 installed a little while back but the sensitivity sucks. I went through the process of turning it up all the way and now it will warning chirp of you repeatedly pound on the car but that is it. I don't want to spend more money for another sensor or two so I'm wondering if maybe they installed it in a bad spot or something. The brain is located under the dash right in the side panel that pops off if you open the driver door. I can take a picture if necessary or if anyone has any ideas I'm open to anything.

If its not mounted solid then it's sensitivity is gonna suck. You can get external vibration sensors, those work better anyway and are way easier to mount.
