Alarm Problem Doesn't Honk

i have a 2006 grand prix base sedan and when i trip the alarm or press the panic button only the lights flash and no honking happens also when i lock the doors to get the chirp it doesnt honk but when i press the steering wheel the horn honks as normal. i have check both horns and they work fine and gone throught the DIC to make sure the horn is turned on for the door lock and i dont get why it all of a sudden stopped working. someone please help me

I'm sorry you are experiencing this issue with your vehicle. Is the alarm stock or an aftermarket system? Could you please provide your VIN, PM if you prefer, so I may look into this further for you.

Yeah... the BCM controls all body functions including security. They are known to go bad several various GM vehicles and while the grand prix isn't as common as say an impala I've seen them go bad before.
