Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Airraid Throttlebody Spacer

The general consensus around here is that the spacers do not provide any appreciable benefit. But, since it's already on your car, you might as well leave it on. It doesn't hurt anything. Just check it periodically for coolant leaks.

A funny bit of info. Often those leak at the coolant ports and can cause coolant to enter your intake. Obviously not good.

ZZP swears they help as well. Yet when they made a TB adapter from Gen V/L26 to anything they never made it phenolic to reduce heat from the TB.

It's an additional point of failure. If everything's running fine, you're good. The spacer itself hurts nothing. Sometimes people have coolant or vacuum leaks is all.

My guess is because phenolic is not as strong for threading mounting bolts into. I was considering making my own TB adapter out of it, but the potential thread strength issue stopped me from even trying.

Well quite honestly there is a slight sputter at WOT. I've been meaning to ask about that too. I'm not so sure it has to do with spacer but its definitely a problem that is frustrating me
