anyone familiar with this. i have some potential work and it seems the air shocks on the car are faulty and the computer has put a limiter on it.
any thoughts would be appreciated

the DTS uses Rear Air Shocks with Air Assist. There is an Air Compressor that is Behind the Passenger wheel that uses inputs from a level sensor that is located on the Driver controll arm. The input from the level sensor goes to the pump to tell it, to either Add or subtract air from the shocks.

the real question, what is the car doing, is the rear of the car too low or too high??

hate Cadillacs and the air ride, there is a conversion kit to switch out the air shocks to springs I think that would be your best bet and it will never go bad again

thanks guys. the shock i put in was ok but for some reason the computer won't accept it. but for now i'm just gonna put in resistors in the car to convince the pcm that the shocks are adjusting fine.

Use to have an Aurora before my GP I got this week, miss the aurora but god damn are these things easy to work on....

Anyways, which shocks did you go with?? I've heard if you get the Delco's they are really stiff.
