I have a 2007 grand prix, it's been running rough.code came up PO455 so I change the gas cap, then the purge solenoid. It ran good for a while the the engine light came back on. Can it be the charcoal canister are what? I read there is a blender valve for the canister but I don't know where it is.... Please help I'm wasting to much gas
 


you changed everything but what you should have changed it seems.


OBD-II Trouble Code: P0455 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (no purge flow or large leak)
What does that mean?

This indicates a fuel vapor leak or lack of purge flow in the EVAP control system. It means a large leak has been detected. The (EVAP) emission control system prevents the escape of fuel vapors from a vehicle's fuel system. Fuel vapors are routed by hoses to a charcoal canister for storage. Later, when the engine is running a purge control valve opens allowing intake vacuum to siphon the fuel vapors into the engine.
 


id be changing the canister and the sensor thats in it, its located in the driver side rear wheel well. its the last part to a whole new evap system, being you changed all the other parts already.
 
Yea thts Wht I thought but wasn't sure. Do I have 2 droop the tank are just unplug the hoses and take off the canister.
 
take the tire off, and the plastic wheel well line, unhook the lines and the plug, unbolt it.
