Air Conditioner not blowing cold air through passenger side?

I have tried searching and have found some answers that don't fully answer my question so I figured I'd start a new thread. I am having an issue that seems to be somewhat popular. When it gets warmer and I turn on my AC I get mildly cool air on the passenger side, and warm outside air on the driver side. By adjusting the heat I can get hotter air so it is changing, just not all the way to AC. Last summer I had the compressor replaced and recharged. It hasn't worked at all but I figured I'd try and fix it now since I should have the money and time before summer hits. The front defroster works fine and the compressor doesn't sound like it's going to explode like it did last summer so that seems to be fixed. From research I've done it seems it may be the Blend Doors or Actuator. However I don't know where these parts are located to check them and I'm not sure what other things could be causing the problem. Any suggestions??

It is a 2003 Grand Prix GT. It has the separate driver and passenger side controls, not sure if that makes a difference. (Yes I realized I miss typed the title. Not blowing cold air through driver side. Sorry I'm exhausted from work.)

Nice car Poke. I just moved back to Tulsa from Springfield,Mo about a year ago.

Thanks man. She's getting old but I'm impressed how well the engine holds up. My 3.8 has 192k miles now and only problems I've had have been related to MAF sensor, suspension, and AC. I'd say that's reasonable for an older car. Grand Prixs really are fantastic vehicles. Being from Springfield I'm sure you can understand how no AC can be frustrating through this bipolar Missouri weather haha

Thanks for the info and link to that excellent write up. That's exactly what I was looking for but couldn't seem to find anywhere. I appreciate it. I should only need to replace the driver side right? Since it's the one getting no cold air whatsoever?

yup, what ever one dont fully function, change that one. once its off, you can move the little knob by hand to make sure its moving and will blow cold.

driver side blowing warm, can but not always could be the a/c is low.

I agree with the blend door motor replacement

Yeah I definitely think it's this. I have tomorrow off so may take it off and move it by hand to see if I can get cold AC hair in on the driver side. If I can then I will replace it. Just tested it in my garage and even in 45 degree weather I can feel a large diference between the cool air on the driver side from the COLD air on the passenger side. The driver side just feels like driving with the window cracked. Will come back with an answer or if I need any more help. Appreciate the help as always guys.
