air bag light on still

so just swapped my clock spring with the one that came from the column that i got at a part out, same part #. so after i got it all back together the air bag light is still on, but now my radio controls light up and work on the steering wheel.

when i had it scanned, they gave a code for it, it didnt really point to much. but the clock spring was in the list. and now i cant find the post the code was in.

any ideas where i can look now, maybe this clock spring is 1/2 bad, idk im lost.

im thinking im going to change my module under the seat as my next course of action, they are fairly cheap @ 20 a pop i believe used.

being that my radio controls were out, and when i changed the clock spring i got the radio controls back, but the air bag light stayed on.

then also last year i parked my car in a area that flooded, so that's why im thinking the
module could be bad in my case at this time.

originality it could have just been the clock spring but the flood may have killed my airbag
module.

any thoughts?
