Couple of quick questions.

My resonator is shot so I'm doing a quickly replace straight pipe. Autozone is limited on the exhaust selection so before I chop it off, does anybody know what size the pipe is exactly?

Also. Going to skip my ac compressor, anyone know the correct belt to use to do so? I searched for a few hours on these but couldn't find a thread, sorry.

Thanks in advance. PS, just received 12 more inches of snow... want some? Lol

if your exhaust is after market already, aka not the factory pipes anymore. and has clamps holding it together, you can asily enough put a glass pack in place of the resonator.

i got a glass pack for 25 bucks, its a thrush 32 inch . you pipes are 2.25

if your a welder you can cut the old res out and weld this in its place, just measure your old res and but a glass pack thats as close in length as possible.

i got that flange from a local muffler shop for 10 bucks, then cut the inlet tube off and welded the flange on the glass pack so it would mount up to the cat res flange.

Its bone stock. I thought bout a glass pack its only $13 with my discount but I want a quite one lol. S it still 2.25?

the glass pack is just like a res, my car is all stock with the glass pack installed, its nice and quiet. ive piece by piece replaced the whole cat back now. so its as good as new now.

id just get the glass pack and weld it in. no res or glass pack and its gonna drone and drive you mad rather fast.

zzp sells that a/c delete pulley too. you remove the a/c compressor and install this new pulley in its place.

drone is that vibrating horrid sound that resonates though the car, makes your ears feel like they are gonna bleed. around town you may like the over all sound, on the highway you'll pull your hair out.

in the end these engines sound like real crap, its not a v8, it will never sound real good.

unless you do a full 3 inch dual exhaust, thats the only modified exhaust i like the sound of. but they still use a res. go figure right?

Lol yea my last one was all custom from previous owner... still sounded like crap to me. I'm more of the quiet stock sounding guy. Right now the passenger can't hear me until we stop at a light lol.
