Aftermarket sunroof issues....

My 99 I believe had an aftermarket sunroof installed after the car was purchased by the first owner. Well used to you could hit the "Close" button and it would automatically close, same if you hit the "Open" button. The reason I say it's an aftermarket sunroof is because the sunroof retracts inside of the car when open, and I'm pretty sure the factory ones retract outside of the car when open....anyway anyone know why this thing has stopped it's automatic functions? I mean I can still open it and close it but to close it I have to hold vent until it parks where I think close is.....any help would be appreciated...

the button is probably taking a dump on you. try cleaning it with electical parts cleaner, or try a new switch.

my regal moon roof only does does auto open. (its stock) i wonder if it should auto close too?

my auto down on my drivers side door window didn't work, i changed the master switch cluster because of other issues with it, and the new switches work perfect.
