aftermarket radio what fuse do I hook it up to?

I have a alpine radio in my 04 GP Comp G. What fuse do you have to hook it to so it will shut off with car? Thanks Johnny

if you have a volt meter,check for constant and swithced poer or hook up one of the wire to a constant source of power and hook the other one up to a switched source or one that comes on with the car

cant you just buy the adaptor for the factory harness?

he might be just running things off the deck and cutting out the stock stuff.

ick! The adapter is like 20$ tops! I always hate getting cars into the lot where people cut up the factory wiring to save a little $. Mainly because I'm the guy that has to set it back to rights.

If that is what you are doing, DON'T!!!! Save yourself a bucket load of time and trouble and buy the adapter!

who says you have to cut a factory harness? i just let them hang when a customer wants it done this way. ive never cut one in my life

Oh I see... your talkin about running all new speaker wires and everything? Lots of work but still better then cutting the factory harness... =)

People with 04+ are going to the sunroof fuse.
