Aftermarket Radio Intall Trouble '00 GTP

I have a 2000 grand prix and I just installed a new deck. I went to bestbuy and purchased a wire harness adapter and connected all the correct wires. on my old radio deck there are two wire harness connections. do I need the small harness? I installed everything and no sound?

If you have Bose you will need to connect the remote wire from your aftermarket head unit(Blue White) to the bose amp turn on wire in the smaller harness. The colour of the turn on should be pink.

so im guessing that littlw wire harness is for the bose? what are the other wires in the little harness for?

Did you buy a steering wheel control interface from a company like pac audio or metra?

no I didn't. but when I do what wires connect or do I need to piggy back on?

I like to use the swi-rc from pac audio. On pac's website you can get a step by step installation and program guide.
