I want to buy a pair of aftermarket halo headlights but all the ones I've bought so far (2) I've returned because the halos look nothing like the pics, whats a good brand of aftermarket headlights with bright halos

I would also like to know. I'm thinking of getting the "SPYDER" brand headlights. I also would like to get smoked lenses but i don't want my lights too dim.

if you get the spyder headlights, get the hid setup right away, i had this setup and it was awesome!!!!! and no dont get smoked lenses!!!

HID's helped, but the lighting was still poor.

Read around, and see what you'd like to do.

If you do get those projectors, prepare to use zipties, foam, rubber washers, and other stuff to stop them from bouncing. Aiming is horrible.

They do look awesome though, especially with the halos on.

The spyder gen 3 CCFL Halos are the bright ones.
Output isnt as craptastic as people make it seem, but their not as good as retros.
My output with 6k 35 watt

Yes I have heard the GEN 3 spyders are a lot better than previous models.... Has price came down any...???

^ You got a good set than.

Also, Killer, those beams are really crossed. I ran mine like that for awhile, then said '**** it' and adjusted them to where you could park an RV between the headlight and the bumper by the grills, and got most of the crossing away.

I loved mine too, but that was before I knew better.

Honestly, not trying to sway anyone way, just letting you know the experiences I had with them.
