Hey guys,

I have a 2004 Grand Prix GTP w/monsoon & swc... Was sold the GMOS-100...
Head unit - Kenwood DDX319

I have it all wired up, amp works, chimes work, onstar works but no SWC..

I've tried the auto/manual instructions for setup and can't get it to work.. At one point I had something, but the controls were all the wrong buttons, tried again and lost it all.. Very fustrating.. Wondering if anyone else has ran into this and if they have any advice or help would be great... I really miss my SWC..

Thanks

I wanted to keep door chimes, amp and SWC and I was sold this, obviously oversold but I alreaady figured that out... I just want to get this thing working 100%

Here's what you may need to do, On pin A6( should be a purple wire) of the factory wiring harness ( the larger plug) you need to apply 12v signal, tap into the red wire of the aftermarket radio wire, so that there is power going to the steering wheel controls, then the GMOS-100 will be able to read the switches.

hey simbah i just tried that and still unsuccessful... having a hard time getting the blinkin LED to even work... key on, wait 20 seconds, hold volume down for 30 second and blinkin LED came a few times now its not lol very fustrating indeed..

Hmmm... ya I have invested about $250 into this gmos and just wish it would all work but I am reading numerous problems with the SWC especially my Gmos100-kenwood :S

Would i be able to run that adapter for SWC and the gmos for the rest without issues, seems like a long shot but haha
