Aftermarket deck, stock soeakers

So I have my grandmothers grand prix now, just waiting on some paperwork from the estate to get all the info changed over. But anyway, the stock speakers sound good for what I'd use them for...Good lows, no crackling on increased volume. Just the stock deck is out of date. I'm taking the deck out of my camry since it has usb, cd, aux, bluetooth. Will I lose the factory sound, or will it sound better? I've always upgraded both speakers and head unit, not just one, so I'm not sure. I don't want to take the aftermarket pioneer premier speakers out of my camry because they are more for highs as I planned on putting in a subwoofer but never got to it.

Ok, there's a thread around here somewhere on aftermarket harnesses, but if you do decide to cut and splice, I have the wiring diagrams for 97-08... You'll need to run a 12v switched wire from either the passenger side or the underhood fuse block in order to get it to function properly and turn on with the key

I've dealt with splicing on a lot of my stereos. I decided one time to do a harness...much easier. Any help or info you could share would be great. Any recommendations on which wiring harness?

No. The 12v switched power is only needed if there is no adapter, or if the previous owner decided to try to splice it on his own and hooked up two of the speakers to the wrong sides, one speaker to amp signal and power antenna, and the other to the illumination on signal (it was fun trying to figure that shizzz out)

The adapter should allow the head unit to work as if it was stock.

The adapter is not going to look anything like that picture.
It will look like this.

Is it safe to assume that you do not have BOSE?
