aeroforce questions

ok guys i got 2 questions about aeroforce gauges.

1. are the hp readings on the gauge what im really seeing at the crank?

2. are the 1/4 times it picks up accurate in the performance option?

From the few guys I've seen that dyno'd it at the same time and figured for a 20% loss, it's a decent estimate. But not all of them are as it's based off a lot of variables. Take it as "gee whiz" info and not anything close to concrete. It's mainly for ****s and giggles.

Yes, as long as you meet two conditions. First, your speedo has to be perfectly calibrated since that is what it is using (more accurately, it's using the programmed pulses per mile and the VSS). Second, you can have NO wheel spin on launch. If the wheels spin then it just shortened the perceived 1/4 mile (making you seem faster). If anything, the trap speed is usually pretty close.

thats what i figured thanks for the info man

the 1/4mile times i ran on the guage and what I ran at the track came to a couple tenths off. I'd say accurate enough to use it, but not swear by it.
