Aeroforce Interceptor color?

I want to get opinions on the backlight color for the Aeroforce. I plan on installing this in a gauge pod on the dash near where the HUD display would be, not in a pillar pod. Is the red background hard to read at all? I want to be able to glance up at it and not have to focus too hard to read the thing.

Just noticed I hit 3800 posts, lol. Free post!

Red isn’t hard to see at all. When the sun is on it it’s difficult but I think that’s with all of them cause of the screen

A nice thing about the Interceptor is the brightness options and the ability to invert, which lets you tweak it to your liking. I've found no problem with the red at all, in day or night. I have the brightness max and it makes it easy to read during the day and still not too intense at night. I have mine mounted near the DIC and it matches it really well!

It's not inverted in that picture like the DIC is, but I'm pretty sure there's a hotkey for it as I've accidentally inverted it before

Red or green.

I had red and liked it, didn't hurt my eyes at night and was easy to see during the day.

I don't like blue gauges as the bright white/blue at night is annoying.

Good deal. And thanks for the pic Moozery. That's exactly what I was looking for. I was hoping to match my stock gauge color with the red so it looks like that'll work just fine.

Here's how I had mine before getting a pillar pod.

Didn't have to worry about sun or glare like I do now.

I have a red one in the top of the pillar pod. I can see it fine, except with my sunglasses on, which also applies to the aftermarket radio. I have sensitive eyes so the sunglasses have to stay. LOL

The downside to having it on the pillar is if you sit in the hot sun for several hours, the screen acts strange and is hard to see until it cools down.
