Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Advice about a very generalized situation..

Wondering if anyone can give me their opinion on what might be causing a clunking sound from the passenger side of my gtp. the noise is only happening when i am accelerating or decelerating and not when i go into turns or over bumps. i have jacked the car up off the front wheel and there doesnt seem to be any play on the wheel.

I'm not sure if it could be something with the struts, wheel hub, or perhaps something like a motor mount. any ideas are greatly appreciated. its not a horrible sound it's just getting annoying and I'd rather have the car in tip top shape. i have taken off the front driver side dogbone (front engine mount thing) and i have replaced both rear struts a few months ago so it could very well have been my re-install of those parts if they might be the cause of this sound.

Thanks in advance.

sway bar links are a good possibility, and are cheap (I bought a set for $30 and they are poly) cv joint usually is when turning, strut mount can make all kinds of racket (if you replace struts replace the mount they are cheap) even a control arm bushing could cause a noise, or something in the trans, or a mount

Thanks everyone for the quick suggestions.

I'm sorry I'm such a newb at these things just trying to pinpoint the location and possible culprits is being ... stubborn.

I took a look behind the front wheels today and wondering if anyone can determine if these bushings look bad.

The Passenger side:

which didn't vary much to the untrained eye from the Driver side

also these joints (trailing arms?) looked to be a bit deteriorated, might this cause a noise in the suspension.

sorry to be such a pain. I'm just a stickler for things being perfect and I'm in a quandary about this sound, and after looking through these forums it seems people here are pretty knowledgeable so i thought I'd ask here first.

thank you once again in advance

first ones are sway bar links, and look alot like mine did when they made noise, the second pic is tie rod end, if those are bad you will get movement when you grab the wheel and wiggle it (unlock the column first)
