adaptind a strut tower bar from another car

ok so i have a strut tower bar i removed from my 96 pontiac bonneville before i junked it ,now ive already measured and the bar itself is to short but the ends where it bolts to the strut tower will work but would it be worth it to buy a longer square tube and adapt it?
 


A Bonne bar isn't going to be the best thing for a GP. I'd go to the JY and pick up a bar off an Impala 3.8L or a Regal. Same bar as GMPP
 
well my gp is an 04 what was the difference between them i know my gp is wider between the strut towers ,did they have a dif kind of setup or round bar or something
