actuator or climate control

I have the Manuel dual climate controls. I can hear the actuators working when I adjust the controls.


Maybe this is a no brainer but I just want to make sure... most of the time,I was getting no heat on the driver-side. The passenger side works fine. At given times the heat would blow on the driver-side and if I turned it to cold and back to warm it would blow heat for a few seconds. Come to find out the lever on the control for the driver-side is very very sensitive. I can touch it and I will hear the actuator and I'm sure it responds to bumps and turns in the rode.

I guess changing the climate control would be a lot easier then the actuator...so unless I get a concrete resolution that will be done first.
 


Definitely sounds like, maybe a slight short in that side lever. Especially if you can get an heater control from the junk yard cheap. I would go that route, changing that actuator is a lot more detailed.
