Accessory groaning/whirring

I replaced the tensioner pulley and that side is a little quieter but my God something is groaning fierce.

I want to say it's the water pump but it's brand new!?

I've been passively bleeding the cooling system for a few days now, having read that air may be causing this.

The pump is Bosch 97152.
 


Don't mistake new for 100% defect free. Most likely your issue is the ps pump. That's the most common. Have you checked the ps fluid level?
 
Did you do the idler as well? I've got a bit of a whine that's more present in the winter, but it's not nearly loud enough for me to care. Turning the wheel has no effect on it. I'm sure you've taken the belt off and spun the pullies to feel for any slightly rough spots or vibrations?
