Hey guys. So I came accross my very first problem with my car in 2 years. My AC was blowing as cold as ice yesterday but today its not blowing any cold air.
I checked the pressure of the system and while it is about 5 lbs low while running, its still within acceptable levels to blow cold air. The compressor turns on just fine and the fan always kicks in as normal. A low system would prevent the compressor from coming on so I know its not that.
All the controls work just fine but when I have the air on and the dial all the way to cold I can hear what sounds like air from a compressed can leaking out. It get louder as I turn the temp knob colder but I cant hear it at all while the temp knob is fully hot.
I read once that I might have to remove the glovebox and check hoses but I can be honest with you I know nothing about climate controls.
I would appriciate anyones ideas. Thanks!
