abs module

I went to the gm dealer to have my grand pix gtp 98 scanned because the light of the abs and tcs are on for the couple of weeks..

so after the diagnostic they say come out with this code "codec0550-ecu malfunction estimate 1094.65 plus tax!!!

can I just got the the junk and get a module for myself? its that hard or is more complex than I sounds?

I already look and searched the forums but I could not find something similar to my problem.

thanks!:(

I fixed it after ordering the abs assembly in the internet

I saw that did not need the pump after all the pump works so I remove the module from the used part and swapped to my car... $210 vs 1094.65 plus tax

so basically you need a t20 screw driver... and remove the module making sure the orientation of the clips... I didn't with the one that I ordered but I did on the one in the car.

it took me a little over an hour to get it done.
