I got a 02 grand prix gt replace both rear wheel bearings and brakes plues one caliper. when u step on the brake peddle the abs starts groning now not sure what else it could be. I just repace a power streering hose the parts store told theres two different hoses one for non power assist streering and for power assist. It started doing this right after i changed the hose could i have gotten the wrong hose??? also sounds like the abs is tryin to engage when startin to drive until the light comes on
 


First, which hose did you get? And do you have Magnasteer power assist or not?

And if it's just a small noise for a second only 1 time right after you start a drive, that is normal, that is the test cycle.

Here is my thread on the ABS problem; it's centered more on EBCM failure but you might find a good bit of it helpful.
 
Okay, if you look in your trunk, there's white sticker under the lid in there with many 3 character codes. One of those codes tell whether or not you have Magnasteer.

Find that, I'm going to look up the codes on GM service manual right quick.
 
The Service Parts Identification Label under your deck lid will read NV7 for steering power, variable effort.
