ABS brake pedal goes all the way in. Brakes obviously not working correctly.

1992 Grand Prix SE

I recently replaced almost everything that is behind the passenger side wheel; ball bearing along with the suspension spring, cv joint, the whole thing. I did it because it had a nasty vibration but I'm glad its finally gone after such dramatic replacement. Now I have another problem.. We also replaced the fluid line that goes to the brakes (not the whole thing, just the rubber part) and it might have taken a little air in but we already purged all the four brakes but its still the same, the brake pedal goes all the way in. I discussed this with my neighbor who is a mechanic and he said it probably was because we didn't put the original ABS sensor (I left the one that came with the new part.)
My brakes were perfect before all this :/

Any ideas?
 


either you still have air in the lines, or the master cylinder is dead. or you let the master's res run out, and sucked air into the master, in that case you need to bleed the master cylinder. not sure on a 92 if you need to bench bleed it or if you can crack the lines off the master, just like you would a bleeder on a caliper. same deal pump pump pump, hold the brake then crack the line nut have a rag over and under the nut to catch the spray. repeat a few times, for both lines.
 
Agreed. ABS sensor won't cause this issue.

Did you put a new caliper on as well? If so.. the hose needs to connect to the caliper lower to the ground than the bleeder screw.
