ABS and traction Control lights

My abs and traction control lights came on on my dashboard 4 days ago, does this mean what I think?
I have a 2004 Grand Prix GT, Just went over 100,000 miles last month...can this problem be repaired by a average joe?

Ive been searching different threads and it may be the problem, ABS forum gave me a lot of insight. thanks.
