A theory I have

you guys can tell me the likelihood of this theory.

When I bought my current GTP in the summer of 2013 it had worn brakes, they were not worn badly but the rotors were slightly warped. I had the rotors turned and the problem was fixed. I also had abs issues, and installed a rebuilt ebtcm, fixed a broken wire on the driver side wheel bearing and replaced the passenger side wheel bearing.

About 5 months ago the abs started going crazy, the pump would start modulating at random times for seemingly no apparent reason. I had the Stealership check the abs system and they said the passenger side wheel bearing was bad.

is it possible and/or likely that because of the abs pump/system going crazy the wheel bearing wore out faster, or is the more likely reason that the wheel bearing failed and resulted in the abs problems.

I have a bad habit of thinking the craziest most unlikely reasons for problems.

yup, your crazy.

one has nothing to do with the other. bearings go bad or the abs sensor in it can go bad, abs modules just go bad, and people's right foot warps rotors most of the time, unless the caliper is hung up and someone keeps driving it with the brake dragging.

I had the same issue with my abs going crazy and randomly activating even when braking at 7mph to a stop. Turned out that there was a frayed abs wire on one of my after market wheel bearings. It was shorting and making the abs kick on at the most random times.

that's how part changers make money.
Who installed the pass bearing. Did they orient they wires so the cv doesn't rub through.

I had a intermittint problem with the abs/tc lights would come on at random. Bearings were fine but the cv had rubbed through the little booty protecting the wires coming out of the back of the hub. I turned the "booty" to look at the wires. They were exposed from there insulation and were shorting out on the cv from time to time. Over 115k on them.
