A-Pillar or HUD gauge pod??

I've been running around with my boost gauge 3M'd to my steering column for a while now. I recently had my oil pressure switch crap out on me and thought that would be a good excuse to get a pressure gauge for it instead. Now, the question is: Where should I mount the pair? HUD or Pillar?

Also, does the oil pressure switch just turn on the idiot light, or is it monitored by the PCM, as well?

I would say A-pillar. IMO they look bad a$$ up there, here is a picture of my set-up. And I wouldn't trade it for the world.

NICE SETUP!! Somehow I don't believe my gauges will look that nice, but I think you won me over on placing them on the pillar.

BTW, 3 AeroForce's!!! I AM JEALOUS!:th_thumbsup-wink:

Thanks for the compliments. And your gauges will look just fine up there too;).

Where did you get those guages from. Is that pontiac emblems I see in them?

You can get the gauges from:Interceptor OBD2 data stream gauge and scan tool by Aeroforce Technology

And of course you can try PFYC, I think you will be better off going directly through AeroForce, especially if you decide to go with more than one dollar wise. And yes those are pontiac emblems you see in there, they can be programmed to show up at startup.

Miller - QBall98 custom made my 3 gauge A-Pillar. I have also heard that ZZP will be getting them at some point. But they have been talking about it for a while now. So you can still try and get in contact with QBall98 and see if he can make you one. He hangs around that other site from time to time.

TDCRacing - They were Christmas gifts so that sums up why I have three gauges. And I have yet to see anyone else out there with my set-up. Have to be a little bit different you know:).

Street Wolf - Thanks for sticking up for me there, but last time my husband checked I was a female:th_winking:. And yes with three AeroForce gauges I can check just about anything under the sun. Were as with just 3 standard gauges you are stuck to just those gauges. Every couple of months I like to change my settings, and have the gauges read something totally different.

Oh I wasent trying to be mean I know the areoforce can display a lot of parameters and i figured you may have just freezed a certain parameter on each gauge that way you can see what is going on and not have to wait for the gauge to cycle to that particular parameter. And yes for the price of them (free) I wouldnt be complaining either lol

I know you weren't trying to be mean, I love the looks I get with those gauges sitting up there. Especially when they see a lady behind the wheel.
