well the xp cam is in along with the gen v blower....runs good considering its on a stock 3.8 pulley (will be putting the 3.4 mps on tomorrow from my gen 3)...

i need a new battery because mine isnt holding a charge and i need to get a maff screen from the junkyard tomorrow since i broke mine lol...

a funny thing i noticed is when i did a bunch of pulls everything was smooth and ran good, but then when i opened my cutout and did some pulls it starting breaking up at wot...my guess is that it may just have been a coincidence and that whats causuing it is either the maff/tb screen being out or the battery being dead and only being able to start if its jumped?

its just weird that the car ran fine before i opened up the cutout.

idle was around 800 rpms and the pcm was re learning the fuel trims etc

If you put the TB screen back in it will run better :)

With it out it can cause the car to run like shat.

yea i know what it does, if mine wouldnt have broken trying to take it out id still have one, luckily ill be getting one tomorrow from the junkyard.....
 
Lmfao it sounds like your car set off the alarms as you drove by. How was the sound change from stock to the SD headers?
 
Now i know what my car will sound like when i xp cam up. What did you have to change out from your 1.9 rocker setup? Im asking because i have 1.9 rockers now also.
 
You put stock rockers back in...and yank out the stock cam and swap it for the XP.

Yea ill put up some more videos soon, after I get the 3.4 pulley back on tomorrow....a little upset because its breaking up still even with the new battery and maff screen back in. does it around 5k rpms in 2nd....im on my old tune still that I had with my gen 3 3.4 rocker setup...knock free on 19-20 timing, I wonder if I need to re tune or if im somehow running out of fuel? Any thoughts or ideas?
 
ok so...

-put stock rockers back in
-replace l76 with 105 springs
-then install xp cam

This is pretty much the exact thing I will be doing either later this year, or early next year. However, I think I will be going the S1X route..

Most likley the same LS retainers he had on when he had 1.9 rockers. I will be using mines as well.
 
Well quick update..put the 3.4 on and now it's breaking up worse...i think it's just a fueling issue at this point and that I need to get it on the dyno....any other thoughts?
