A/C System O rings

Hey, all! I bought a 1997 GTP in immaculate condition in the spring and the A/C wouldn't work. I bought a recharge kit and hooked it up, but when I give it pressure, the A/C system leaks right at the connection to the pump on the belt and the line that comes out. Has anybody done o rings on these cars before? Also, what size the o-rings do I need and do I need any special tools to pull the a/c lines?

Thanks!

Yea, you can get to the lines on the back of the compressor likely from underneath. Have to remove the splash shield I think. And since you will have to open the system up you should replace the accumulator/drier as well, which means more O-rings at that end of the lines as well. I know Oreilly's sells a kit with a bunch of different a/c O-rings in it and you just match them up. Should be green O-rings and a few orings with metal around them for the compressor side where you are leaking.

They all have a nut that you have to undo. If they just pulled apart then they would never seal since the high side can run pressures of upwards of 250+.
