a/c only blowing at feet and a bit out of dash ?

i think its a vacuumn problem .99 gtp blows only at my feet and a little at the dash control panel changes to defrost and other settings but it doesnt change where it blows. what should i do to fix where to look for problem . how do i trouble shoot ?
 


Look under the drivers knee bolster, attached to the side of the blender box is a round actuator, looks like the one attached to the supercharger. While looking at it with car on flip the control to different positions and see if the actuator arm moves.

Well, not exactly sure if its in the same place on the gtp but it should be I think. Mine came out of the bracket that holds it to the blend box. So the whole actuator would move but not move the blend door. Clipped it back in and its been fine.

Guess first you should also make sure the hose is connected in engine bay on vacuum tree on top of supercharger. Check for cracks in hose.

Forgive me if any info is wrong, this is what I would do on my impala. YMMV
 
check the vacuum hose in the engine compartment that runs thru the firewall along the frame on the battery side. I had one broke there and i had the same symptoms.
 
checked it out today .ifi i turn settings to floor it only comes out on floor if i put it on dash it comes out on floor and dash .if i hit the defrost button it comes out of defrost.just cant get it to blow only on dash am i going to have to get into the blenderbox??/
