a/c compressor pulley bad

Hey guys, my a/c compressor clutch pulley is bad, slowly spinning like its sticky, and makes a noticable high pitch rattle noise when the engine is at idle. I am not looking to repair the compressor, just honestly want to get rid of the noise, how would you guys go about doing this? Thanks!!

Get an a/c bypass pulley from rock auto.

Will that disengage the pulley so it can freely spin and the belts speed?

That removes the compressor completely and just puts and idler pulley in its place.
