a/c box leak? wtf?

ok a buddy has a 97 GP, his floorboard pass side is constantly full of water when its hot out and a/c has been on alot.
i know its the condensated water off the evap core in the box under the dash,, but wtf it drains out on the ground under the car just fine it seems.

so wtf why is it flooding the floorboard still then?

ive tried everything including blasting out the drain valve with 120 psi air and poking it with wire and it doesnt help at all

is this a common issue in these cars, and if so what is it?

hes tired of it and i am stumped.

the car is moldy smelling bad all the time in there, and it needs to be resolved,

if it is gonna require pulling the box apart am i gonna have to pull the console and dash?
