99 to 03 engine and trans swap

Im in the process of swaping an 03 engine and trans into a 99. I have two questions 1) The fuel injector clips are different, so should I just splice them into my existing harness? 2) The shift linkage on my 99 transmission has 2 wiring harnesses, while the 2003 has 1. Could this have something to do with the 2003 not having cruise control?
 


Did some research, and the wiring harnesses I am talking about are for the Range switch. Should I just use the one out of my 99? Any help would be appreciated
