Ok everybody so my 99 GTP 143k sedan is going to pot.
You know like my rear struts are trying to live in the trunk:th_sick1:, rocker panels are barely holding body trim on etc. Just picked up a 2001 GTP 240k coupe with a pretty solid frame etc. Engine is junk in car don't know about tranny? Engine makes such an awful racket I felt bad just driving it on and off the tow dolly and on to the lift! So the plan is to swap engine from sedan to coupe along with other items that are in better condition from the sedan. I searched the site and couldn't find any posts about this particular situation. What do I need to know? What things are inter changeable from sedan to coupe and what are not? Is there things to watch for because they are different years? Also things to do while engine is out of car? Maintenance at this point and not modding unless its free or super cheap. Sorry if this is not the right place for this post. Thanks
