99 GTP oil pan and RTV

I got the oil pan on. Now I have another issue. Some RTV got smeared on the bottom (front) of the windage tray, and I forgot to wipe it off. I havent put any oil in it yet, and the tray is clean and dry. I may be able to scrape it off with a coat hanger and vacume it out the drain hole. Will this smear hurt anything, or should I try to scrape it off? I do NOT want to pull the pan back off. Is there a way to flush it out?
 


Leave it alone. It should stay adhered to the tray. At worst it will get caught by the filter and in the big scheme, RTV isn't going to harm the pump etc. It's nice and soft.
 
you'll be fine thats what the oil pickup tube filter is for. i just did mine, RTV + new gasket FTW.
