99 gt rebuild trans advice.

I have a 99 gt, non s/c that has 184,000 on it. Trans is slipping some and I have some hard shifts from 3 rd to 4th. Rest of the time it shifts fine. Only when it is up to operating temps do we have these problems. I think it is time for a rebuild.Electronic problem???? So...... if I have it rebuilt, what are some of the mods would you tell your local shop to do(hardened 4 gear drum) etc, etc. At 52 years old ,I don't drive like a bat out of hell but want a sturdy commuter car. The rest of the car is wonderful because it is garage kept and had been all of its life. I like the car and plan to keep it a while. New ones just too damn $$$$$$$$. It will come with everything that needs to be upgraded from the factory to perform its best. Then you'd only have to get it installed.

The list of parts that goes into the transmission is what should be done upon any decent rebuild.
