So I have found a 05 Monte Carlo SS engine with 60,xxx miles on it. I am really thinking about swapping out my L36 for it. I looked into a top swap for my engine as well. I just want to ask which would be a easier to do? The cost of the 05 MC engine is $1000, I found a 01 GTP trans they said would throw in for just another $500 and that has 48,xxx miles on it. Just want to hear some input on my little experiment I would like to do before winter comes.
