I have a 99 Grand prix with 170,000 miles. It only whines when it gets hot or its whinning all the time and when it gets hotter it whines louder. its done it for a while and i am really not sure why. trans fluid is fine and power steering is good. radio is grounded and wheel bearings are good. any suggestions would be great. thansk for all your help.

take the belt off and start it for a little bit. Don't let it run too long or it will over heat!!! but doing this will tell you if its a pulley or something internal to the engine or trans.
Should you take the belt off and it goes away... spin the pulleys individually and see if any growl when turned, or if they have a rough spot when being turned.
