99 Grand Prix Alternator Red wire

So I noticed my alternator was on the path to destruction- so I decided to change it out. The red wire that connects to the alternator broke in half during the removal process so I was wondering if anyone knows what size wire this is and what the connector is called perhaps eye loop?

it's not as big as the battery cable is it??? Seems like I ran that size for my 180 amp alternator when I had a decent system in my car due to voltage drop but I was thinking 6-8 was more close to stock size... I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time... :th_laugh-lol2:

you can cut the wire end off and re solder a eye loop. or just change that cable for one at the parts stores. they run about 6 to 8 bucks. measure the old one, buy a new one close to it.
