My ABS light come on tonight and I was taking a quick look at it (in the dark with a little led flashlight) and noticed that there is about a 1 1/2 inch gap between my tranny and my passenger side cv joint and my tranny. The cv joint shaft looks nice and shiney. No dirt no grease or rust. It just doesnt look right to me. The car drives fine with no noise. This might be a stupid but is this normal or shouldnt the cv joint be in where its almost touching the tranny? if this is not normal what the hell would cause this. Im kinda woried about this. LOL Any feed back would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

well thats good news for once. I have been battling care problems for the last two year and im tired working on them. No cash for a garage to fix my problems so I guess im the lucky one who gets to do it. Last 2 cars were Fords so owning a GM product will be a new adventure at least! Thanks again!

Owning a GM will be a new adventure for you. Here's the kinds of things to look forward to:
Not needing your entire toolbox. If you have a 7mm, 8mm, 10mm, 13mm, 15mm you can take apart 98% of the car and do any repair. 10, 13 and 15 being the majority of that.
You'll never arch a starter while changing oil
Parts are common on other cars and cheap
This car is easy to work on overall. There's room and most things don't fight.
Best of all.. no FBI's.. (fords better ideas)
